Why I Love Blogging

What? It’s already Thursday? I’m pretty sure I say this all the time but I’m going to say it again..the week is flying by! I guess it’s a pretty good thing because who doesn’t love the weekend?

I mentioned in a recent post that I have been blogging for almost 6 months now and love it. So, today I thought I would share some things that I absolutely love about blogging!

CIMG5716(Recent Snack: Low fat yogurt with honey, strawberries, raw oats and some frozen blueberries.)

Blogging has become a great outlet for me. It feels so good to write a post about my thoughts. Connecting with other bloggers is a lot of fun too!

I love getting e-mails or comments from other bloggers & people that read my blog. I love giving advice and sharing my experiences.

CIMG5677(Recent Snack: Super Berry Smoothie with extra berries and a scoop of protein powder.)

I love reading other blogs. It’s so cool to meet other bloggers that have the same interests. I could read blogs all day long…lets face it, I probably would if it wasn’t for school. :)

I’ve always loved experimenting in the kitchen and blogging allows me to share my recipes.

CIMG5702(Recent Snack: Almonds. Lots of them.)

I’ve learned about so many new foods and combos through blogging and can’t get enough of them! Egg, cheese & jam sandwich? Overnight oats? Sweet potatoes? Quinoa? The list goes on and on..

I’ve met so many amazing people thanks to blogging. I wish I could meet them all in person and give them a hug, a huge jar of nut butter and a batch of cookies. Seriously.. how cool would a huge blogger meet up be?

CIMG5729(I did a swap with Sara and she sent me so many bars that I’m so excited to try!)

I was inspired to start lifting weights. Honestly, I used to think that it was only for men. Uh, boy was I wrong!

Trying out new products I see on other blogs and getting to do reviews from companies is a great experience and is a lot of fun.

Thank you(A heart made out of Kellogg’s Special K Cereal that I posted in one of my first blog posts.)

Thank you so much for all your love and support. When ever I have a down day, you all make me smile!

If you blog, what do you like most about it? Could you imagine your life without it? Are you looking forward to the weekend as much as I am?

On the one hand,I really enjoy writing,on the other hand,it's always so wonderful to get to know new and awesome people! Food swaps are definitely great,too,though... Especially if one lives in Germany and can't get all those awesome products from the US,hehe :P

I love being able to connect with others as well. It's so amazing what other bloggers are doing and they teach and inspire me SO much! I also love baking and cooking, so it's a wonderful outlet for me to share those recipes but also get creative with photography, editing and writing. I had no idea what blogging could be like, but it sure is so fun! Oh and I am jealous of all those yummy bars!!

  10. So what I hadn't realized about my life, was how much I'd enjoyed even lightly participating in the blogging world before I moved from Seattle to England. After I moved here, I felt so uprooted and disconnected that I had to find a way to get back involved with it. I missed the fashion community. Then I realized I missed all my friends and all the things we did together. My solution, was to start blogging about all the stuff I enjoyed doing. Slowly, I've started to connect with others through it and it's been amazing. That's the fun part to me. Meeting all the new and interesting people who share their interests with me.

  11. I agree with all of your reasons. I love sharing stories with others and I love being able to look back on old posts. It's so fun to have so many memories in one place! I can't wait until I'm a little bit older and can laugh at all of the silly things!

  15. Yum. Yum. Yumyumyum. And yum. I can definitely imagine my life without blogging (it's not that huge a part of my life at the moment, with school and whatnot) but blogging is fun. I like that I write something and someone reads it - I also like that it pushes me to be on the lookout for new products/foods/things to do and that it challenges me (over break, when I have a kitchen, at least) to try new recipes. I wouldn't have come up with half of my favorite crazy recipes without my blog! Like the ever winners, breakfast cake, green monster, and chocolate chip lettuce pie. :)

  19. Agreed! the people who comment on my blog and whose blogs I read are a special kind of friend and I totally agree -- blogging is the best! I think it's cheaper and more convenient than therapy, and it saves my Facebook friends from having to look at tons of pictures of my food (since I used to post em there).
